With a background in photojournalism, my work is fueled with authenticity in mind. I enjoy blending in with events to capture true candid emotions as much as coaxing genuine expressions from subjects in one-on-one sessions.
In photography and videography, my style has the look and feel of an honest, photojournalistic shot, with the technical beauty of a traditional image.
I am passionate about improving my community and the entire bayou state. As Digital Storyteller and head of photographic services for Louisiana Tech University, I am dedicated to promoting the quality education our students receive and faculty provide in the heart of North Louisiana.
In my spare time, I volunteer as the Press Chair for the Downtown Gallery Crawl and work the land with Current Farms. I enjoy road trips, a good belly laugh, farmers markets, reading about my enneagram type, birthday parties and celebrating people through visual storytelling.
